from music city
to our nation's capitAl,
on mission for god

Welcome to the Nashville First Baptist Youth Choir Mission Tour Website! I know you will enjoy browsing through our site today as you experience the thrill of mission action adventures. This year’s site is full of interactive opportunities for you and your family as we strive to make you feel you are right here with us – on Mission for God! Thank you for being a part of our adventure today and, most importantly, for your prayers!

Our 2021 Youth Choir Mission Tour takes us to Washington, D.C. – our nation’s capital – and one of our North American Mission Board SEND City initiatives. We will encounter some wonderful ministry, fellowship, and educational/cultural experiences as we draw closer to one another and closer to our Lord. Our optimum goal will be to have the pleasure of leading others into a life-changing encounter with the Lord Jesus Christ!

It is thrilling to know how God has prepared such exciting opportunities for ministry through which we are privileged to share even with the restrictions imposed due to a world-wide pandemic. Our main mission effort will be to serve in partnership, by assignment of the North American Mission Board, with Waterfront Church in the Navy Yard area of Washington, D.C., just a few blocks from the Nationals Baseball Park and less than a mile from the United States Capitol. We will be leading a Mission Vacation Bible School for them, as well as engaging in neighborhood canvasing around the Capitol. We will be providing ministry at two homeless shelters, an inner-city school for underprivileged children, and on an army base. We are privileged to present concerts at the Jefferson Memorial and the World War II Memorials. We will also enjoy many wonderful fellowship opportunities together as we visit some of the nation’s most popular and noteworthy landmarks.

We are grateful for your interest, participation, and prayers on behalf of our 2021 Youth Choir Mission Tour as we eternally impact people’s lives in our nation’s capital this summer. We anticipate many life-changing decisions to occur as we follow Christ on this year’s exciting evangelistic mission-minded adventure!

Enthusiastically Yours,

We are praying for those supernatural, life-changing experiences which can only be explained by the powerful movement of God in our midst as we seek to shine the Light of Christ wherever we go.

We can't wait to create wonderful new memories on this trip as we share God's love with the people of Washington D.C. Follow along as we document everything along the way!

We are excited to bring a bit of Music City to our Nation's Capital as we lead worship and present worship concerts during our time in Washington D.C. Our tour repertoire consists of new pieces and old favorites, with soloists and Visual FX features.

forgetting what is behind
